Paul, the director and owner of 305 Barber Co., has a rich career spanning over 25 years in the hair industry. Born and raised in St Albans, Paul began his career working for two well-renowned St Albans-based hairdressers. During this time, he served as a Kerastase ambassador and completed the Vidal Sassoon Master Cutting Course, further honing his skills. He transitioned to barbering in 2014 when he joined the renowned franchise, Headcase Barbers. In 2024, he embarked on his independent journey, establishing 305 Barber Co. to bring his unique vision to life. His deep connection to St Albans inspired him to keep his business local, serving the community he knows and loves.

Since joining Paul in 2016, Matt has played an instrumental role in the success of the business and will be a key figure in driving the evolution of our new brand. His journey into the world of hairdressing began in 2012 in Los Angeles, where he first discovered his passion for cutting. Upon returning to the UK, Matt spent two years honing his craft at Koas in Potters Bar, followed by a brief tenure at another salon in Hertfordshire before joining Paul in St.albans. A proud St Albans boy, Matt’s dedication to his craft and his hometown is reflected in the strong, loyal client base he has built over the years. His advanced qualifications include a Level 3 in hairdressing, certification as a L’Oréal Colour Technician, and Barbercide certification. Due to his popularity and expertise, appointments with Matt are highly sought after, so we recommend booking in advance to secure a spot with him.
